Rasmussen, Velva Jean (Marriage - 20 Sept. 1958)

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Seehafer will live at Medford following their return from a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin. Mr. Seehafer is announcer for Radio Station WIGM.

Donald W. Seehafer and Miss Velva Jean Rasmussen were united in marriage Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church at Marshfield, with the Rev. Douglas Oyan officiating.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Seehafer and Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Rasmussen, of Marshfield.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, appeared in a white floor length gown of Chantilly lace and tiered tulle. Sequins outlined a semi-sabrina neckline. She carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids, yellow roses and stephanotis.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. William Leonard and Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Christensen were attendants. Ushers were Gordon Johnson and Don Meyer.

The bridal attendants all wore ballerina length dresses of velvet and iridescent taffeta in Italian blue and matching velvet headpieces with veiling. They carried crescent bouquets of yellow full chrysanthemums and bronze daisy pom pons.

A dinner and reception were held at the Hotel Charles following the ceremony.
