Krokson, Victor Theodore (9 November 1876 - 28 December 1954) 
 

Victor Theodore Krokson, 78, who suffered a stroke, died late the next evening, December 28, 1954, at his home in Greenwood.  He had been in poor health for several years. 
 

Mr. Krokson was born November 9, 1876, in Sweden, and in 1910 was married in Greenwood to Julia Krokson*.  After their marriage they resided on a farm in the Town of Warner 4 ½ miles northwest of Greenwood, until they retired and came to live in this city 17 years ago. 
 

He is survived by his wife, and three brothers - Morris Krokson of Greenwood, Fred Krokson of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Oscar Krokson of Osage, Minn. 
 

He was preceded in death by three brothers - Martin, Ernest and Axel Krokson, and one sister, Mrs. Borseth. 
 

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  The Rev. Magnus Egge officiated.  Burial took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.  During the service Mrs. Ronald Tieman sang, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Max Harms.   
 

Pallbearers were: Edgar Opdycke, Otto Voie, Adolph Axel, Henry Olson, Louis Behrens and Elmer Johnson.
