Williams, Rollin Harvey (1870 - 1956) 
 

Rollin Harvey Williams, former resident of the Greenwood area, has been interred at Reseburg.  He died at White Creek, where he had lived the past 15 years.  prior to that he had resided northwest of Greenwood.  He was married in 1913 to Bessie May Thompson.   
 

His wife and the following children survive: Dewey Williams, Withee; Mrs. Alvin (Emma) Kippenhan, Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Briski and Mrs. Donald (Nettie) Berthold, Greenwood; Roy, Friendship; Walter and Mrs. Grace Bartlett, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Della Williams, Nelson, and Hester Williams, Wisconsin Dells.  Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Abbie Beck, Omro, and 17 grandchildren.

Rollin H. Williams, 85, Dies; Funeral Friday

 

FRIENDSHIP--Funeral services for Rollin H. Williams, 85, White Creek who died Tuesday at his home following a lingering illness, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Roseberry Funeral Home.

 

Burial will follow at an Owen, Wis., cemetery.

 

Mr. Williams was born in Winnebago County March 9, 1870, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Williams. He was married in 1913 to Bessie Mann.

 

Survivors include his wife, a sister, Mrs. Addio Beck, Omro, and nine children, Mrs. Irma Kippenhan, Mrs. Mildred Ruski and Mrs. Nettie Berthold, all of Greenwood; Mrs. Grace Bartlett and Walter, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Delia, Nelson; Hester, Wisconsin Dells; Dewey, Withee, and Roy, Friendship.

Bio: Williams, Rollin Harvey (1870 - 1956)

 

Rollin Harvey Williams was born March 9, 1870, the son of John F. and Mary Williams. Rollin married Bessie Mann December 31, 1913 and when he passed away January. 3, 1956, his body was laid to rest in the Sylvan Cemetery in Reseburg Township, not far from the farm where he had spent most of his married life and raised his children.
