Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht (Golden - 10 October 1956) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow of Rt. 3, Neillsville, celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary Saturday, October 13, 1956. 
 

Services were conducted by Pastor Adolph Schumann at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, at 2 p.m.  "Jesus Lead Thou On" was sung by the Ladies Aid and "The Lord is My Shepherd" was sung by the choir. 
 

Dinner was served to about 190 people. Gold and White streamers decorated the dining and living room with gold numbers of "50". 
 

The four tiered wedding cake, decorated in white and gold, was baked and decorated by the sons’ wives, Mrs. Roland Kalsow and Mrs. Wilbert Kalsow, and a granddaughter, Helene Kalsow. 
 

Mrs. Kalsow wore a navy blue dress with a corsage of yellow rosebuds.  Mr. Kalsow wore a rose bud on the lapel of his coat. 
 

In the evening an open house was held for friends and neighbors.  The evening was spent playing cards, visiting, and a few musical selections were given by granddaughters, Petra, Pearl, Diana and Lois Kalsow. 
 

Pastor Brandt performed the marriage ceremony October 10, 1906, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe. 
 

Mr. Kalsow was born March 7, 1884, in the Town of Weston.  He is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kalsow.  He received his education in a rural school in the Town of Weston and at St. John’s Lutheran School, Neillsville. 
 

Mrs. Kalsow, nee Ida Mallig, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Mallig, received her education in Neillsville public schools, a rural school in the Town of Weston and at St. John’s Lutheran School, Neillsville. 
 

Both are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Globe.  Mrs. Kalsow also is a member of the Ladies Aid and is an active Sunday school teacher.
