Litton, Leota (24 February 1897 - 30 November 1956) 
 

Mrs. Leota Litten, 59, died at a hospital in Rockford, Ill., Friday, November 30.  She had been making her home with a daughter in Love’s park, Ill. 
 

Mrs. Litten, nee Leota Piquet, was born in Iowa, February 24, 1897.  She was married to George Litten.  He died in August, 1952.  The family lived on a farm in the Town of Beaver for several years. 
 

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Kenneth (Velma) Prock of Love’s Park, Ill.; Mrs. Dave (Veryl) Lucas, Milwaukee, and Mr. Darlene Pomputis, Chicago; and by one son, Allen, of Loyal; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Waters, California, and two brothers, Harry and Desmond Piquet of Warren. 
 

Funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday.  The Rev. Ethel Nulton of the Greenwood Methodist Church officiated. 
 

Pallbearers were: Ted Pickola, Frank and Joe Pachal, Alfred Anderson, Henry Kostlevy and James Hallowell.
