Wnuczynski, Elizabeth (8 July 1893 - 21 January 1957) 
 

Miss Elizabeth Wnuczynski, 63, died early Thursday evening at her home following an illness of two years.  A requiem high Mass was read Monday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Fr. Peter J. Leketas. Burial was made in the family lot at Niles Cemetery, in Chicago Tuesday afternoon. Arrangements were made by the Bergemann Funeral Home, where a general rosary was said Saturday evening. 
 

Miss Wnuczynski, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Casimer Wnuczynski, was born July 8, 1893, in Chicago. She attended St. John’s Cantus Parochial School there, and finished her education in the school in the Town of Levis, where the family settled on a farm in 1900.  She made her residence in the Town of Levis until 1947, when she and her sister moved to Neillsville.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. 
 

She is survived by her only sister, Miss Barbara, with whom she made her home.

A requiem high Mass was read Monday morning, January 21, for Miss Elizabeth Wnuczynski, 63, of 711 W. 4th St. Neillsville.  The services were held from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Peter J. Leketas officiating. 
 

Pallbearers were: Francis Guest, Louie Meinholdt, Henry Rahn, Dr. Carroll N. Schield, Albert Sollberger and John Trogner.  
 

On Tuesday morning the body was taken to Chicago, where a brief service was held that afternoon. Burial followed in the family lot at Niles Cemetery, Chicago.   
 

Her only sister, Miss Barbara Wnuczynski of Neillsville, attended the rites in Chicago.
