Miss Joann Johnson of Viroqua became the bride of Harvey Brusky of Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, on Monday, Feb. 3, in a ceremony read at St. John’s rectory by the Very Rev. Fr. Michael J. Keinhofer. Attendants were Miss Kathleen Brusky and James Brusky, sister and brother of the groom.

Following the ceremony a reception was held, and dinner and supper were served to 20 guests. Those present were Father Keinhofer; Mrs. Brusky, the groom’s grandmother; Mrs. Louis Ley; Mr. and Mrs. George Ley; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bartl and daughters, Rosemary and Virginia; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Johnson and daughter, JoAnn, and son, Ross, and the immediate members of the family.

The groom, a son of Mrs. Annette Brusky of Marshfield, is a veteran of World War ll, having served with the merchant marine. He now attends the State Teachers college in LaCrosse, where the young couple resides.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
