Werner, Herbert E. (June 25, 1939 - December 22, 2009)

 
Herbert E. Werner went to meet Jesus on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the age of 94 years.

 
Herb was born and raised in Little Black, and moved to Milwaukee as an adult in the early 1930's. In 1941 he married Dorothy A. Rosenthal. In 1979 he retired from Rexnord after 42 years of employment.

 
Herb was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years Dorothy in 2008.  
 

He is survived by his loving son Steve (Mary) Werner of Hartland, his grandchildren Kari (Kevin) Rautmann, Stephanie Ann (William) Faubion and Steven (Monica) Werner and his great grandchildren Emily, Allison, August, Madeline, Erin and Laura Lee. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law Anita (Jim) Richter and Erna Zarling, many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Laura Werner and his siblings Julia, Emily "Molly", Walter and Bertha "Bip".

 
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center, 13235 West Captiol Drive, Brookfield followed by entombment. Friends may call at the family center on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Milwaukee or to the charity of donor's choice.
