Lorris B. Dusso, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and James A. Shock, Stanley, are two of 35 men granted certificates by the State Motor Vehicle Department to be members of the state’s new driver license examination force.

Dusso has been a member of the Clark County Traffic department and Shock is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ryland Shock of Stanley, graduating from River Falls State College last June.

The men finished a three week training course and will spend a fourth week working in the department’s Madison and Milwaukee offices.

The 1955 legislature authorized establishment of the state licensing system to take over work done by local law enforcement officers.  The forces, when completed, will have 85 members.  Another training course wills start Jan. 9th.

Members of the unit will operate from five centers, Antigo, Madison, Rice Lake, Tomah and West Bend.
