Churchill, Gertrude (? - September 1957) 
 

Funeral services were held last Thursday morning from the Bergemann Funeral Home for Mrs. Gertrude Churchill, 80.  The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. 
 

The body was taken to Rock Elm for services that afternoon from the Rock Elm Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Anderson officiated there and burial was made in the Rock Elm Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers in Neillsville were: George Beeckler, Earl Bruhn, Nick Feuerstein, Albert Smith, H. M. Smith and Fred Subke.  In charge of flowers were: Mrs. Earl Bruhn, Mrs. Florence Counsell, Mrs. John Perkins and Mrs. Albert Smith. 
 

"Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me" was sung by Mrs. Virgil Holmes and H. R. Briggs, accompanied by Mrs. Iris Randall. 
 

Pallbearers in Rock Elm were: Ed Balfance, Paul Feiler, Vernon Kilgore, Clarence Watkins, Ed and George Wild. 
 

Two hymns, "Abide With Me" and "My Faith Looks up to Thee," were sung by Mrs. Willard Holcomb and Mrs. Paul Feiler, accompanied by Mrs. Lloyd Britton.  
 

Out of town people attending the services at Rock Elm were: Mrs. Helen C. Smith, a daughter, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Heuer, Racine; Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Krueger and Mr. and Mrs. Forest Churchill, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Churchill and Larry and Ronnie Churchill, Stillwater, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Churchill and Mrs. Abbie Borst, St. Paul, Minn.
