Roderick, Clarence C. (2 February 1889 - 16 June 1958) 
 

Clarence C. Roderick, 69, of Rt. 3, Neillsville, died June 16.  He had been a hospital patient here since May 12. 
 

He was born February 2, 1889, in Rochester, N. Y., son of the late Clarence and Jennie (Hitchens) Roderick. At the age of two he came with his parents to Chicago, where he received his education and for many years worked as a teamster and machinery mover. 
 

His marriage to May Hennessy took place July 30, 1910.  Following the death of his first wife he was married to Margaret Schultz on November 29, 1935.  In 1944 they moved onto a farm in the Town of Weston. 
 

He is survived by his wife and a son, Donald Roderick of Chicago, and two grandchildren. A brother, Alden Roderick of Rock Island, Ill., also survives. 
 

Funeral services are being conducted this afternoon (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Schlicht, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Globe, will officiate.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Clarence D. Roderick, 69, who died June 16. The Rev. Robert Schlicht, pastor of he Immanuel Lutheran Church of Globe, officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: Louis Hagedorn, Fritz Grap, Harold and Theodore Mitte, William Hoffman and Leo Henchen. 
 

Robert Mitte, accompanied by Mrs. Clarence Wegner, sang, "For Me to Live in Jesus," and "Oh Lord My God I Pray to Thee." 
 

People from out of town attending were: Donald Roderick, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Foss, Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. William Bertrang, Fairchild; Mrs. Rosalie Haderer, Milwaukee.
