Dorst, Raymond J. (12 July 1903 - 19 June 1958) 
 

Raymond J. Dorst, 54, 1633 Bonny Gray Ct., Ontario, Calif., a resident of the Granton area for many years, died June 19, following an illness of several months. 
 

He was born July 12, 1903, in Plymouth, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dorst.  He attended Granton schools and in March, 1927, was married to the former Elva Garbisch. They engaged in farming, later moving to Marathon City and Colby, where he operated an oil business, and about a year ago moved to California. 
 

He is survived by his wife and two children, Mrs. Tad (Patricia) Mayeda of Ontario, Calif., and James Dorst, Wausau, and three grandchildren. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Nowack, Granton; Mrs. E. J. (Nell) Shellman, Oconto Falls; Mrs. Albert (Mabel) Huettl, Stratford; and a brother, Leonard Dorst of Madison.  He was a brother-in-law of Dwayne Felser of Neillsville.
