Clark County Fair (Ribbons - 1958) 
 

Top winners in the Holstein class of cattle which represented Clark County at the Wisconsin State Fair last week included:  
 

Blue Ribbon won by Albert Schultz, Curtiss; Dawn Wuethrich, Greenwood; and Peggy Imig, Neillsville; with a white ribbon going to Larry Appleyard of Neillsville.  In addition, Albert Schultz placed third in showmanship. 
 

Guernsey placings included: a blue ribbon won by Adeline Johnson of Granton with her senior yearling heifer and a red ribbon on the junior yearling heifer which she exhibited.  Also, a white ribbon was awarded to Lafe Enkro, and a pink to Jim Mesar, both of Granton. 
 

The Jersey herd included a junior heifer and a three-year old cow both of which were awarded blue ribbons and shown by Keith Stump of Chili. 
 

Richard Meyer of Loyal placed second with his two-year-old cow, while his brother, Larry, received a pink with the senior heifer he exhibited. 
 

Keith Stump placed first in showmanship for the Jersey class and was awarded the showman’s trophy, while Richard Meyer placed eighth. 
 

Arthur Anderson of Owen exhibited five sheep and received a blue, two reds and two whites.  
 

The group was accompanied by Frank Kuznar, farm and home development agent for Clark County.
