Jalling, Nelsena (27 June 1877 - 15
September 1958)
Services were held Thursday, September
18, for Mrs. John (Nelsena) Jalling, a resident of Withee for 57
years. Burial was made at Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery, with
the Rev. Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Jalling had been in failing health
for several years. She died September 15.
She was born June 27, 1877, in Denmark,
and came to America as a young lady. She and her husband, the late
John Jalling, Sr., were united in marriage in October, 1899.
He preceded her in death February 14, 1943.
She is survived by two sons, Henry of Minneapolis and John of Withee; and three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Margaret) Sorensen of Los Angeles, Mrs. James (Camilla) Hansen of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Lloyd (Signa) Bangsberg of La Crosse. Twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, six sisters and a brother also survive.
