Albert Bielke, 88, a lifelong resident of Greenwood, died early October 4, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since September 27.

Mr. Beilke, son of August and Augusta Bielke, was born March 17, 1870, in the Town of Warner.  He lived on the farm six miles northwest of here with his parents.  After their deaths, he and his brothers operated the farm until 1928, when he went to live with the Alfred Noah family.  In 1953, he went to the Bethel Convalescent home in Arpin and on April 8, 1955, he returned to reside in the Clark County home for the aged in Greenwood.  He was never married.

Mr. Bielke is survived by a brother, Richard, and a sister, Ida.
