Pozega, Dorothy J. (17 May 1925 –11 March 2010) 
 

Dorothy Pozega, 84, of Willard died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. 
 

Dorothy was born May 17, 1925, at home in Fairchild, the daughter of Andrew and Amanda (Kottke) Olson. She was united in marriage March 4,1945, to Frank Pozega in Neillsville.  After getting married, Dorothy helped on the farm and worked as a housewife, raising their children. 
 

When she wasn’t working, Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, cooking, baking, canning and shopping. And, her favorite place to eat was at Kentucky Fried Chicken. 
 

She is survived by her children, David (Sue) Pozega of Hugo, MN, Frank Pozega of Duluth, MN, Gary Pozega and Larry Pozega of Willard, Duane (Pat) Pozega of Neillsville, Tommy (Laurie) Pozega, and Ronny Pozega of Willard, Lori (Mike) Binkley of Glenwood City and Dawn Pozega of Willard; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Carolynn) Olson of Fairchild; five sisters, Laura Obermeier and Betty Pickett both of Wausau, Ida (Robert) Sessions of Athens, Almeda Atherton of Black River Falls and Patricia (DuWane) Sessions of Marathon. 
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a son Kenneth; and a daughter-in-law, Polly. 
 

Funeral services for Dorothy were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Burial was in the Willard Cemetery. 
 

Casketbearers were her grandsons: Jeremy Pozega, Christ Pozega, Jason Pozega, Brent Diercks, Kevin and Kody Binkley.
