Joyce E. Harris Ziegeweid McKenna, 80, Eau Claire, died on Monday, March 1, 2010, at Syverson Lutheran Home, Eau Claire. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 6, at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel, Altoona, from 11 a.m.until the time of the service at noon. Vicar Dan Kohn from Bethlehem Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Loyal, at a later date.

Joyce E Harris was born on Feb. 24, 1030, in Altoona, to Henry and Hazel (nee Wilbur) Harris. She married Charles Ziegeweid on Nov. 27, 1948. She later married David McKenna. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altoona..\

Survivors include her children, Thomas (Julie) Ziegeweid, Eau Claire, Michael (Sabrina) Ziegeweid, DePere, Patrick (Catherine) Ziegeweid, Ixonia, and Barbara Ziegenweide of Park City, Ill.; four grandchildren, Becky Taylor, Timothy Taylor Jr., Nathan Zirgeweid, and Liesl Ziegeweid; one great-grandson, Gavin Wooldridge; one brother, Hank (Jaunita) Harris, Eau Claire; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, Charles Ziegeweid and David McKenna; a brother, Kenneth Harris; and a sister, Fern Harris.

Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Home, Altoona, is serving the family.
