Wilson, Charles H. (9 April 1930 - 21 March 2010) 
 

Charles H. Wilson, 79, of Decatur, IL, died Sunday, March 21, 2010, in McAllen, TX. 
 

Charles was born April 9, 1930, in Neillsville, son of Frank and Clara Wilson and step-father, Mike Tobin.  He farmed and worked for the railroad.  He retired from the N & W Railroad in 1990.  He married Goldie M. Baker Aug. 17, 1950, at Danville, IL.  She preceded him in death in 1997 after 46 years together. 
 

Surviving are his sons, Harold and wife Catherine of Clayton, IL, and Dan of Crawfordsville, IN; daughters, Linda (Randy) Carter and Betty Cole of Decatur; daughters-in-law, Jo Wilson of Decatur and Barb Wilson of Racine; 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Wieting of Neillsville; also a special lady friend, Darlene Burley of Cambridge, MN.  
 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Goldie; two sons, Bruce G. Wilson and Alan L. Wilson; a great-grandson, four sisters and two brothers. 
 

He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. 
 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 30, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Decatur, IL, with Pastor Wes Feltner officiating.  Burial was in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL. 
 

Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care handled the arrangements.
