Frederickson, Herbert #4 (1915 - 5 MAR 1957)

 

Funeral services for Herbert Frederickson, 42, who died on Wednesday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, from critical injuries received in a head on collision on the east city limits of Owen on Tuesday, March 5, 1957, were held at the Curtiss Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday P.M., Mar. 9.  The Rev. Max E. Wilhelm officiated.  Mrs. Robert Mattson and Mrs. Opal Peissig, accompanied by Mrs. Max Wilhelm, sang "Under His Wings" and "I’m But a Stranger Here."  Pallbearers were Armin Peterson, Delmar Augustine, Norbert Bruchert, Edgar Linjer, Murine Anderson and Arnold Anderson.  Flower bearers were Mrs. Henry Peterson, Mrs. Delmar Augustine, Mrs. Ralph Peterson, Mrs. Floyd Klemelsin and Mrs. LeRoy Braithwaite.

 

Mr. Frederickson was born on Feb. 24, 1915 in Brown County.  A cheesemaker, he has lived in Wood and Clark Co. before coming to Curtiss a year ago.  He was employed by the Owen Dairy Co.

 

Survivors are his wife, the former Evelyn Nerdrum, whom he married Aug. 27, 1946, two stepsons, Gerald and Robert, one daughter, Joanne, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Frederickson, Pewaukee, one brother, Ralph of Norfolk, Va., two sister, Mrs. Delmar (Marie) Brodhagen, Mrs. Donald (Bernice) Brumbaugh, Marshfield, who all attended the rites.  Also attending were other relatives from Stanley, Withee, Indianapolis, Ind., Waterloo, Milwaukee, Cadott and surrounding area.
