Turnski, Irene (24 MAY 1948)

Miss Irene Turnski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Turnski (deceased) of Hatley, and Robert Fulwiler, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Fulwiler of Loyal, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony on Saturday, Apr. 24, at a nuptial high mass in St. Agnes Catholic church at Milwaukee.

The bride chose a white satin gown. The nylon yoke was trimmed with a wide lace ruffle, which formed a sweetheart neckline with long bodice and long sleeves. The full gathered skirt formed a long train and was accented with a large full bustle. Her veil was a fingertip length. Bordered with lace, and the high crown was of seed pearls and bugle beads, with a center of white carnations.

The bridesmaid, Miss Maxine Budzynski, a friend of the bride, was dressed in blue, with a satin bodice and full net skirt. Her headpiece, similar to the bride’s was trimmed with seed pearls. She also carried red roses and white carnations. Larrt Fulwiler, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Music for the mass, which was celebrated by the Rev. J. P. Herbst, was furnished by the children’s choir. Bouquets of gladiolas, snapdragons and calla lilies decorated the altar.

After the ceremony, dinner was served for 20 guests at the "Old Heidelberg." A reception was held in the evening at the Harold Fulwiler home.

After a brief honeymoon, the couple will be at home to friends and relatives in Milwaukee, where the groom is employed by the Milwaukee Gas Light Co.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
