McKinzie, Elda (05 JUNE 1948)

In a double-ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5, Miss Elda Ellen McKenzie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack McKenzie of St. Croix Falls, became the bride of Lowell F. Tuft, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Tuft of Milwaukee. The Rev. Earl Allen read the nuptial service in the chapel of the Kingsley Methodist church in Milwaukee.

Attending the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Florence McKenzie of Chicago, Ill., and the bridegroom’s brother Robert Tuft of Milwaukee.

Two white orchids accented the navy blue suit chosen by Mrs. Tuft for here wedding costume. She completed her attire with pink and gray accessories. The maid of honor wore a pink suit, to which she pinned an orchid corsage, and navy blue accessories completed her ensemble.

At 6:30 a dinner was served to the immediate relatives, and a reception was held at 8 o’clock in the evening.
