Robert C. Mrock, age 43, of Thorp, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2010, at his home.  Per Robert’s wishes, no services will be held. Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert C. Mrock, age 43, of Thorp, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 28, 2010. 

 

Robert was the beloved son of Bonita Mrock, loving brother of Eric Kruger, Carrie Best, Kathie Kies, and Cristina Geeve; fond nephew of Clarence (Darlene) Nichols and Leonard (Minnie) Nichols; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Mrock, and his sister, Jacquelyn Magnussen.

 

Robert was a graduate of Luther East High School in Lansing, Illinois, and attended Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.  He was currently employed at Kay Jewelers of Wausau.  He loved playing his guitar at family outings, and duets with his brother Eric and his sister, Carrie.  He enjoyed golfing and fishing at Miller Dam.  He loved "The farm" and the State of Wisconsin.  He felt he had come home, and will be missed by all who knew him.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. on the hill at "The farm" in Gilman, WI.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Diabetic Association in Robert’s name.
