Whitewater, Wis. - Mrs. Elvera Fravert, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), has received a National Defense Education Act grant to participate in a June 12 - Aug. 4 Whitewater State University advanced study institute for elementary school coordinators of education media programs in individual school buildings.

Forty Wisconsin educators from public and private school were chosen for the graduate level institute which will be by Dr. John V. Battram, professor of audio visual education.

The institute is planned to help elementary school building coordinators of educational media programs improve instruction through effective application and integration of educational media in the curriculum, to study newer educational technology, and to study the use of community resources to improve instructional programs.
