Tucker, Gardner  (04 SEPT 1948)

In her home in the town of Eaton, Miss Marie Tucker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Tucker, became the bride of Vern Gardner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gardner of Loyal. The Rev. Lee H. Holmes of the Loyal Methodist church performed the double-ring ceremony at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4.

The bride’s suit was light brown, complemented with brown accessories. Her corsage was of yellow carnations and peach rosebuds.

Miss Lorea Gardner, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She was dressed in a brown suit with pink accessories. Her corsage was of yellow carnations. Leonard Kollmansberger was best man.

Immediate relatives attended the 6:30 wedding dinner immediately after the ceremony was performed.

Both attended Loyal high school, the groom graduating with the class of 1948. Mr. Gardner is employed with the Wuethrich Creamery Company. The young couple will reside at the home of the bride’s parents, temporarily.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy life.
