Granton, Wisconsin Personals (12 March 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger attended open house at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield Sunday.

 

Mrs. Clarence Scharf was hostess to her "Eight-Some" bridge club Tuesday evening.

 

The Granton Homemakers will meet today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. Bernard Pietenpol. They did not meet last week due to the weather.

 

Mrs. E. L. Witte will be hostess to the Granton Women’s Civic Club Wednesday at 7;45 p.m.  Members will contribute to a "blind" auction.

 

Mrs. Emma Chubb attended the christening of her great-granddaughter, Mary Louise, Sunday.  Mary Louise is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roman Virnig of Bakerville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schuelke, Chicago, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuelke. Saturday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Gus Hagen of Globe and Mrs. Alfred Ebert and children of Neillsville.

 

The Zion Lutheran parochial school as not in session Monday, due to the children in the upper grades taking part in the annual grain judging contest in Neillsville.  Classes were resumed Tuesday.
