Hagedorn, Mr. and Mrs. Paul (54th - March 1959)

 

Seventy relatives and friends had a dinner in the American Legion Hall Sunday in honor of the 54th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hagedorn of Neillsville.  It was also the 77th birthday of Mr. Hagedorn.

 

The wedding cake was made by Mrs. Harvey Krause and the birthday cake by Mrs. Louis Hagedorn. Tables were set by the granddaughters.  Music was furnished by David Hoppa and his orchestra.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hagedorn were the parents of seven children, one daughter, Mrs. Erna Schlueter, is deceased.  Surviving children attending with their families included: Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Lillian) Marg and daughter, Caroline, of Pine Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagedorn and family and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey (Evelyn) Krause and family of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hagedorn and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hagedorn and family of Weston; Mr. and Mrs. Louis (Helen) Nemitz and family of Milwaukee.

 

Other relatives attending were: Richard Schlueter, Belle Plaine, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Compton and two daughters, Altoona; Mr. and Mrs. John Kessenish and two sons, Stanley; Erwin Krause and Miss Clara Krause, Granton; Harold ‘Hagedorn, New Ulm, Minn.; Ramon Hagedorn, Stevens Point; Miss Nola Rhodes, Marshfield.

 

Invited friends attending the dinner included: Mr. and Mrs. William Oldham, Mr. and Mrs. Ten Linster, Weston; Mrs. Ruth Ebert, Mrs. Anne Quast, Mrs. Elsie Gress, Neillsville and Mrs. Minnie Nemitz, Pine Valley.
