Lindner, Margaret (03 JUNE 1884 - 28 DEC 1949)

Margaret Lindner, 64, the wife of August Lindner of Mosinee died on Tuesday morning, Dec. 28, at Memorial hospital in Wausau. Her death came very suddenly, although Mrs. Lindner had not been well for the past 15 years.

Margaret Lenling was born on June 3, 1884, at Elsmore, in Dodge county, the daughter of William and Margaret Schmalz Lenling. On Apr. 14, 1909, she was united in marriage with August Lindner at Loyal. In February, 1915, Mr. and Mrs. Lindner moved to Mosinee, where Mr. Lindner and Frank Schock became partners in the operation of the Corner Market and Leader Store.

During her residence in that city Mrs, Lindner was active in the affairs of St. John’s Ladies Aid of Mosinee and over the years held most of the offices in that organization.

Surviving her, besides her husband, are four sisters, Mrs. Frank Schock and Mrs. Henry Rau of Mosinee, Mrs, Adie Chamberlin of Madison and Mrs. George Schock of Loyal and two brothers, William Lenling of Wausau and Albert Lenling of Wheeler.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lindner were conducted on Dec. 30 in St. John’s Lutheran church, with the Rev. Otto Kehrberg officiating. The pallbearers were six nephews of Mrs. Lindner: Harold and Alfred Hills and Wilbur Lindner of Loyal, calvin Hills of Vesper, Harlow Chamberlin of Madison and William Lenling Jr. of Wausau. Burial was in the Mosinee cemetery.

The Tribune extends to the survivors its sympathy in their loss.
