Walters, Mary Ellen (Marriage - 26 June 1959)

 

Durand (Special) - In an 8 p.m. candlelight ceremony at the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Durand, Miss Mary Ellen Walters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Walters, and Donald E. Brue, son of Mr. and Mrs E. M. Brue of Spencer, were united in marriage by the Rev. Arthur Sneesby.

 

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly rosepoint lace scattered with sequins, with a fitted bodice.  Miss Marjorie Wallen of Prairie Farm was maid of honor.  Miss Pat Wagner of Westby was the bridesmaid.  Donna Walter, sister of the bride, was flower girl.

 

Attending the groom were Roger Christy of Eau Claire, as bestman; Dick Brue, brother of the groom and Dannie Walters, a brother of the bride, and Michael Hunter a friend.

 

A reception was held at the Masonic Temple dining hall following the wedding.

 

The bride graduated from the Durand High School and is attending the State College at River Falls. The groom, a graduate of River Falls (missing lines)
