Marsden, Frances (Marriage - 16 October 1959)

A quiet wedding took place October 16, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marsden when their daughter, Frances, became the bride of Roger Sandwick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sandwick of Merrillan. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Carl Serr of the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Humbird.

The bride wore a white street-length dress, a tiny ear-tip veil and small crown.  She was given in marriage by her father.  Her maid-of-honor was Miss Maryanne Dunn of Alma Center.

The groom was attended by Charles Marsden, brother of the bride.

Only a few friends and close relatives were in attendance.  Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Kirby, Mr. and Mrs. Connie Walker, Mrs. Ed Mashin, Fricky Theiler and the groom’s grandmother, Mrs. Gen Gose of Wabasha, Minn.

Light refreshments with a wedding cake were served after the wedding.

After a short honeymoon trip the young couple will make their home in Minneapolis, where the groom works.
