Meier, Norman (16 July 1947 - 24 February 1960)

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Humbird, with the Rev. Carl Serr officiating, for Norman Meier, 12, who died at Townsend, Mont. Wednesday of Influenza.

Norman was born in Whitehall on July 16, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Meier, former residents of Hixton.  His mother was the former Dorothy Lisiecki, who lived with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lisiecki, in Humbird; and later in Hixton and Northfield, where her father was a cheesemaker. The Meiers moved to Montana 10 years ago.

Surviving are his parents; a brother, Duane, 10; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lisiecki, Chicago; and the paternal grandfather, Albert Meier of Wisconsin Rapids.
