Fritz, Lori Ann (23 January 1964 - 7 November 2010)

 

Lori A. Fritz, age 46, of Rock Falls, IL, formerly of Thorp, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010, at her home.  A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010, at Thorp Funeral Home, Thorp, with Rev. keith Apfelbeck officiating.  Interment followed the ceremony at East Thorp Cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Adam Hakes, Angie Hakes, Christie Gustum, Cindy Jensen, Danielle Ochodnicky, and Richard Jacque.  Honorary pallbearer was Allan Hakes.

 

Lori Ann Neisius was born on January 23, 1964, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Jerome and Beverly Neisius.  Lori was raised on the family farm in Thorp, and received her education at Thorp Public Schools, graduating high school in 1982.  Lori later attended C. V. T. C. in Eau Claire, where she earned her associates degree in Accounting.  Lori met and later married Bruno Hodel in July 1986. They enjoyed a life together in Switzerland, where Lori worked for an international company.  Lori and Bruno returned to the U. S. and settled in Walnut, IL.  They later divorced.  Lori continued her life in Walnut, where she met and married Jonnie Fritz, in June 2000.  Lori worked for Jonnie’s business doing the accounting, until he sold the business and retired. She later worked for Profit Company until it closed.

 

Lori had many interests, but especially loved reading, gardening, fishing, camp fires and visiting with family.

 

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Jonnie Fritz, of Rock Falls, IL; her parents, Beverly and Jerome Neisius of Thorp; her sisters: Cathy Bohl (special friend Ed Nolan) of Medford, WI, Janette Jacque (Richard) of Thorp, WI, Cheryl Neisius (special friend, Wally Grill) of Mondovi, WI; her nieces and nephews: Christie, Cindy, Danielle, Lisa, Beth, Jenny, Katie, Ryan, Allan, Adam, Angie and Randy; great niece and nephews: Braden, Josh and Megan; many other relatives and friends.

 

Lori was preceded in death by one sister, Cyndee Neisius-Brown.
