Overman, Emma (24 FEB 1883 - 27 FEB 1957)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Stanley Presbyterian Church in Stanley for Mrs. Emma Emily Boardman, 74, who died Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
The Rev. Allen Van Cleve officiated and burial was in the Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Armond Christopherson, Herman Anason, George Smasal, Henry Steinmetz, Roy Forster and Walter Brenner.
She was born Feb. 24, 1883 in Green Grove (Clark Co.), Wis., and went to Stanley while still a child. Her husband, Bern E. Boardman, died 17 years ago.
Mrs. Boardman was a member of the Presbyterian Ladies Aid and of the Birthday Club.
She is survived by two sons, Everett of Hannibal, Harold of Kimball, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. John Overman of Stanley; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
