Lucht, Charles (13 June 1885 - 24 April 1960)

 

Charles Lucht, 74, died at his home at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, April 24, of a heart attack.

 

He was born June 13, 1885, at Braddock, Pa., and when a small child came with his parents to a farm at Athens.  A few years later the family moved to Spokeville, where he had since resided.  He was married to Elsa Oestreich October 12, 1910, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.

 

He served as a member of the Spokeville School board.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Services were held there at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Virgil Ganz officiating.  Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Pat (Elaine) Bertz and Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Weyhmiller of Loyal; a son, Gerhardt of Spencer; seven grandchildren; a brother, Art of Spencer; and four sisters, Mrs. Alfred Oestreich and Mrs. William Fisher of Spencer, Mrs. Gust Voigt of Loyal, and Mrs. Ed Zuehlke of Oshkosh.
