Ramker, Bonnie J. (Voelker) (October 17, 1927 - November 19, 2010)

Bonnie J. Ramker, age 83, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Bonnie was born October 17, 1927, in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Oscar and Harriet (Fischer) Voelker.

She graduated from Colby High School. Bonnie was joined in marriage to her husband, Max, on September 16, 1944 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Bonnie and Max owned and operated their farm until they retired in 1977. She enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers, reading, sewing, cooking, and baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Max, her children; Sandy Asplund of Colby, Sam (Theresa) Ramker of Rhinelander, Mary (Dan) Lewis of Depere, Debbie (Mel) Kurzewski of Milwaukee, Mike (Linda) Ramker of Davenport, Iowa, Dan (Carrie) Ramker of Colby, Dawn (Craig) Lieders of Colby, and John (Jenny) Ramker of Colby. She is further survived by 27 Grandchildren, 45 Great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Virginia (late Leo) Stecker of Park Falls.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Stanley Voelker and William Voelker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father S. Nathan will officiate. A Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Colby following the service.
