The school year drawing to a close has been a most successful one in every respect. It is gratifying to note that the work accomplished by the corps of teachers and scholars during the whole year has been to the greatest degree satisfactory and great advancement has been made. The school board has deemed it advisable to secure the services of each teacher employed during the past year for the next year, if possible, and there is little doubt but all will conclude to stay another year. In this respect mention might be made of the valuable service rendered by Principal A. O. Rhea, who is an untiring working in behalf of the school and to whose credit much of the present universal success may be attributed. The matter of proper heating apparatus at the school building will come before the voters at the annual meting and should be settled in such a manner that trouble and expense during the winter months be avoided in the future.
