Bull, Patricia (25 MAY 1957)

 

The marriage of Patricia Bull and Marion Sierocuk took place on Saturday, May 25, 1957 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at Stanley.  The double ring ceremony was performed by Father Edmund Cramer at 9 o’clock a.m., which was followed by a Nuptial Mass, with music furnished by St. Ann’s choir.

 

The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bull of Stanley and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sierocuk of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

The bride was given in marriage by her father.  She wore a floor length gown of white tulle and net over taffeta with a lace bodice, long lace sleeves and Sabrina neckline.  She carried a bouquet of white carnations and stephanotis.

 

The maid of honor, May Valk, a friend of the bride, and the bridesmaid, Mrs. Francis Hedler, sister of the groom, wore waltz length gowns of green and white net over green taffeta with caped sleeves and Sabrina necklines.  They carried round bouquets of pink carnations.

 

The groom and his attendants, Francis Hedler of Thorp and Bill Bull of Stanley, wore white dinner jackets.  The groom’s little niece, Nancy Hedler of Thorp, wore a gown of white over green identical to that of the bridesmaids, was chosen to be the flower girl.  She carried a miniature of the bride’s bouquet.

 

Joseph Bernero of Elmhurst, Ill., a cousin of the bride, wearing a black tuxedo, was chosen as ring bearer.

 

Ushers on this occasion were Earl bull, an uncle of the bride of Chicago and Henry Sierocuk, a brother of the groom of Thorp.

 

A breakfast given by the parents of the bride was served at The Needles at Chippewa Falls.

 

A reception was held at the Stanley Auditorium from 7 p.m. to 12 p.m. with a buffet style supper.  Dancing was from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., with music by the Ted Roshell Orchestra for approximately 450 guests.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bull and family have been residents of Stanley, Wis. for the past five years, where the bride attended school and is a graduate of the Stanley High School.  She had been employed by Dr. V. C. Fiaten as dental assistant.

 

The groom, who parents reside at Thorp, is a graduate of the Thorp High School.  He is employed as carpenter by the Fuller Construction Co. in Illinois.

 

After a trip through parts of Wisconsin and Illinois the newlyweds will be at home after June 1st at 923 Lyman Av., Oak Park, Ill.
