The sad news was received here of the death of Jake Jebus last Friday morning. While on the platform in Minot, N. Dakota, preparing to get on the train, there being such a crowd, he in some way fell ahead of the train. He remained conscious long enough for his brother, who lives about 80 miles from there, to reach him. The body arrived at Neillsville and the funeral services were held Monday at the Catholic church. Jake had many friends as he was always so kind and pleasant to all. He leaves a wife, father, mother, brothers and sisters to mourn his loss, and they have the sympathy of all in their affliction.

It is the Eau Claire Business College which opens September 4th. Rooms free board $2.50 a week.
