Pulokas, Dominicilla #2 (28 MAY 1863 - 27 SEP 1957)

 

Funeral rites were conducted Sept. 30 at St. Hedwig’s by Rev. Francis Piekarski, assisted by Father Chilicki, for Mrs. Dominicilla Pulokas of the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away at the Stanley Hospital on Friday, Sept. 27th, 1957.  She had reached the ripe old age of 94 years.

 

The deceased was born May 28, 1863 in Lithuania.  She came to the United States in 1899 and in 1901 was united in marriage to Mike Pulokas in Chicago.  They resided there until 1904 when they came to the Thorp community and located on a farm in the Town of Reseburg where Mr. Pulokas passed away in January 1927.

 

Mrs. Pulokas is survived by three sons, Walter, Joseph and Tony Pulokas, all of Reseburg.

 

She was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Parish Cemetery.  Pallbearers were John Szczech, John Mozgowiec, Mike Norks, Geo. Trybula, John Trybula and Tony Plechacek.

 

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral of Mrs. Pulokas here Monday were Mrs. Taruinas and daughters, Mrs. Winskunas and daughter Adeline, Mrs. Jos. Lotecki, Mrs. Stella Kersting and Mrs. Marcella Rinkunas of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kaz and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaz, Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Ulka, Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baehr, Withee, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Petrulis, Thorp.
