York Township (25 August 1960)
The Town of York has completed the installation of a new furnace and insulation of the Town Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bennett and Mrs. Alvin Palmer of Oakfield visited Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hales and attended services at York Center Methodist Church Sunday morning.
Glen Rowe of Milwaukee is visiting at the Milford Rowe home this week. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ahlborn and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Rowe and family of Minocqua; Dennis Ahlborn, who remained for a week’s visit; and Lawrence Olia of Osseo. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ahlborn and family plan to spend next weekend there.
