Lindner, Mr. and Mrs. Tony (Silver - 23 October 1960)

 

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Lindner honored their parents at a surprise silver wedding anniversary party at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood Saturday evening.

 

The couple was presented with a corsage and boutonniere of yellow and white feathered carnations, and with a purse of money and many gifts of silver.  A three-tier cake, decorated with silver leaves and sprinkled silver was made by Mrs. Jake Lindner.  A lunch was served to about 120 relatives and friends.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lindner were married in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Loyal October 23, 1935, by Father Aurit.  Three of their attendants were present Saturday evening.  They are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk of Greenwood, and Jim Lindner of Loyal.  The fourth attendant was Mrs. Al Goetz of Milwaukee.

 

Their children are: Herbie, Loyal; Ronnie, Edgar; Patty, Eau Claire; Jane, Marshfield; and Billy, Mary, Beth, and Debbie, at home.  They also have three grandchildren.

 

Those from away who attended the reception were: Mr. and Mrs. William Suffran, Plymouth; Chris Brahm, Markus Kreuser, Mr. an Mrs. Ambrose Kreuser, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindner, and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lindner, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. John Shober, West Salem; Dr. and Mrs. Charles Towne, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hughes and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Merkel, all of Marshfield.

 

An 8 o’clock high mass was said in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lindner, Sunday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood.  A family dinner was served at their home at noon.

 

All of their children were present and also Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Kreuser, Chris Brahm and Markus Kreuser of Milwaukee, Mrs. Edwin Kreuser of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Schwarze of Greenwood.
