Citizens State Bank (Scholarships - 1960)

Paul A. Davel, cashier of the Citizens State Bank at Loyal and president of the Clark-Taylor Bankers Association, this week announced the selection of five youths in the two-county areas to receive scholarships to the University of Wisconsin’s farm short course. Each scholarship will provide $200.

The boys selected from Clark County are: Gordon Haselow of Spencer, Edward Mathison of Thorp, and John Slachetka of Thorp.  Taylor County recipients are Raymond Eckert of Medford, and Calvin C. Weirauch of Gilman.

The short course is conducted from November 14 through December 16 in Madison.
