Washburn (15 December 1960)


Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Dehart spent Tuesday evening at the Paul Schultz home.


Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cote of Milwaukee spent last week visiting her mother, Mrs. Gerald Davis.  Mrs. Cote is the former Vivian Davis.


Mrs. Walter Trachte spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Frank Short.


Mrs. Ed Short spent a few days the fore part of the week at the George Allbaugh home.


Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schultz spent Sunday afternoon at the Casper Dieter home.


Mr. and Mrs. Art Short and daughter, Elaine, spent Saturday evening at the Ralph Short home.


Mrs. Myron Turner of Davis Junction, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs Henry Hubing called at the John Reinart home one day last week.


Mrs. Frank Short was a Sunday dinner guest at the Kenneth Short home and attended the Christmas Concert at the United Church of Christ Sunday afternoon.


Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Elberts and Mrs. Art Odell visited at the George Allbaugh home Tuesday evening last week.


Mr. an Mrs. Irving Stevens spent Sunday afternoon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Winters.


Mrs. Sam Cortese and daughter, Liza Marie of Chicago, and Mrs. Kurt Janisch called at the Paul Kuhn home last Tuesday.


Several from this vicinity attended the funeral of Mrs. Henry Seltrecht in Nasonville last week, and the burial in the Sherwood cemetery.
