Fulwiler, Edward (7 OCT 1881 - 8 MAY 1952)

 

Following an illness which lingered on since last January when he suffered a stroke, Edward Fulwiler, 70, passed away early last Thursday morning here at his home.

 

A requiem high mass was celebrated Monday morning for the deceased at St. Anthony’s with the Rev. Fr. Norbert King as celebrant.  Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Pallbearers included John Geiger, Lawrence Davel, Frank Degenhardt, Hal Voight, Ray Prior and Roy Thomas.

 

Mr. Fulwiler was born Oct. 7, 1881, in Washington Co. and moved to the Town of York (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents when a small boy.  He was educated at York Center.

 

He married Lydia Miller, who survives, at Loyal Feb. 12, 1912.  Mr. Fulwiler was treasurer of the Village of Loyal before it became a city, and a barber for over 40 years.

 

Besides his widow, he leaves five daughters, Mrs. Edward (Irene) Irvin, Buchanan, Mich.; Mrs. Myron (Alice) Miedaner, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. J. F. (Dorothy) Pieraux, Chicago; Mrs. Leonard (Isabelle) Sigler, Racine; and Mrs. Carl (Carol) Siegel, Chicago; and four sons, Harold and Robert, Milwaukee; Laurence, Chicago, and John, at home.

 

A sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rowe, Three Lakes; two brothers, Adolph, Milwaukee, and William, Green Bay, and 13 grandchildren also survive.

J. Pieraux and family, Mrs. Carol Sigel, Mr. Larry Fulwiler, Miss Joyce Morris, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sigler, Racine; Mrs. Tillie McIntyre, Mrs. Emil Mauc..?, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fulwiler, Mr. Ed Miller Sr. and daughter, Helen; Mr. and Mrs. Will J..eton? and daughters, Mr. Adolph Fulwiler, Milwaukee, Mrs. Will Fulwiler, Green Bay.
