Dumbler, Matthew  (30 AUG 1969-23 FEB 2002)

 

Matthew L. Dumler, 32, Marshfield, died on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at his home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Anthony J. Wolf officiated. Burial was in Arpin Cemetery, town of Arpin. Pallbearers were Paul Berkholtz, Robert Berkholtz, Rick Dumler, Tom Dumler, John Berkholtz and Leroy Berkholtz.

 

Matthew LaMont Dumler was born on Aug. 30, 1969, in Marshfield to LaMont and Mary (nee Berkholtz) Dumler. He attended grade school in Spencer and Marshfield, and high school at Marshfield Senior high School. His interests included computers, going for coffee with friends, Harley-Davidson motorcycles and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia.

 

Survivors were his parents, LaMont "Sonny" Dumler, Marshfield, and Mary (Roger) Bartz, Marshfield; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Dumler, Spencer; his maternal grandmother, Ann Berkholtz, Colby; his step-grandmother, Alene Bartz, Marshfield; one stepsister, Candis Bartz, Dania Beach, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandfather, Walter Damler; his maternal grandfather, Herman Berkholtz; and his step-grandfather, Marvin Bartz.

 

Remb/Kudinger Funeral Home, Marshfield, assisted the family with arrangements.
