Lauby, Anna M. (20 JAN 1885 - 6 NOV 1952)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Anton J. Lauby, 67, route 1, who died Thursday, were held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield.  The Rev. King officiated and burial was made in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

 

Pallbearers were Harold Faust, Albert Kraemer, Elmer Martin, Tony Sommers, Anton Kraemer, and Rudy Werner.

 

Mrs. Lauby, the former Anna Mary Schmitz, was born Jan. 20, 1885, in Fond du Lac.  She received her education in St. Peter’s, and her marriage to Anton J. Lauby took place there Feb. 25, 1908.

 

After their marriage they moved to Fond du Lac, and in 1926 they went to Marshfield.  In 1940 they moved to Milwaukee and eight years later came to Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), residing here since that time.

 

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Leander and Leonard, Marshfield; Joseph, Denver, Colo.; and Roman, Milwaukee; five daughters, Mrs. Lenny (Clara) Hahn, Milwaukee; Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Fisher, Spokeville; Mrs. Ray (Tilly) Helixon, Kenosha; Mrs. Carlton (Josephine) Nelson, Madison, and Mrs. Dennis (Rose Mary) Burgan, Waukegan, Ill.; 17 grandchildren’ four sisters, Mrs. Ben Vogds, Mrs. Hugo Wagner, Mrs. Celia Laudolff, and Mrs. Nelson Gratton, Fond du Lac; and four brothers, Joseph, John and William, Fond du Lac, and Alois, Glenbulah.

 

One sister preceded her in death.
