Thompson, Victoria #2 (4 MAR 1885 - 11 FEB 1961)

 

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Curtiss Evangelical Lutheran Church for Mrs. Victoria Thompson, 75, who died Saturday at her home at Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.).

 

The Rev. Donald I. Olson officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.

 

The former Victoria Sampson was born Mrch 4, 1885 in Menomonie, and she received her education there.

 

After her marriage to Theodore Thompson on June 12, 1917, the couple lived in the town of Hoard (Clark Co.).  They moved to Curtiss in 1949.

 

Mrs. Thompson was a member of the W.M.F. of Curtiss.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Frank, Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Nelson, Abbotsford; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Ove and Miss Mattie Sampson, Curtiss, and Mrs. Minnie Poetow, Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, August Sampson, Winchester; and 10 grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers and three sisters.
