Quite a number of our people took in the excursion to Eau Claire last Sunday as follows: Messrs. L. Utley, Ed. Fraser, Louis Kleinschmidt and the Misses Ethel and Mabel Fraser, Nellie and Bessie Young and Miss Lydia Neitzel. They all returned Sunday night with the exception of Miss Nellie Young who will visit with friends at Chippewa Falls for a week.
H. H. Henning is raising his house and putting a stone foundation under it and intends to lath and plaster same. Now we do not like to be called suspicious Herman but everything begins to assume a very suspicious aspect.
Gregor Cattanach is home on a visit to his father, Mr. Jas. Cattanach, of Nasonville. Gregor has been away for five years and we are all pleased to see him back.
Those who attended the Clark county fair from here last week were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gibson, S. D. Fraser and Mrs. Ira Fike, Sam Fike and Miss Annie Gorsegner.
Mrs. John Fraser who has been quite ill is very much improved. Dr. Schmall, of Lindsey is attending her during Dr. Schultz’s absence.
