Dunow, Otto (1 APR 1888 - 14 JUN 1962)

 

Otto Dunow, 74, of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died Thursday, June 14, 1962, at the Clark County Hospital, Owen, where he was a resident for two weeks.

 

The Rev. Roger Tellock of the Curtiss Lutheran Church officiated at the funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hoeper-Kraut Funeral Home at Owen.  Burial was made in Pin Hill Cemetery.

 

Mr. Dunow was born April 1, 1888 in Curtiss.  He and Mabel Borgemoen were united in marriage in Curtiss Oct. 15, 1911.  Mrs. Dunow died July 1, 1930.  He operated a farm in the town of Hoard until 1941, when he was employed at the Clark County Hospital until his retirement 17 years ago.  He lived in Curtiss until two years ago, when he went to the Clark County Home for the Aged in Greenwood.

 

Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Art (Maria) Steinke, Colby, and Mrs. Walter (Frances) Heize, Milwaukee; two sons, Guy, Curtiss, and Alton, Berwyn, Ill.; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William Fahrenbach, Curtiss.
