Vesely, Vivian (23 JUN 1962)

Miss Vivian Vesely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Vesely of Milan, and Bennie Mootz Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Mootz, Merrill, were united in marriage Saturday morning at 10:30 before a nuptial mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan.  The Rev. Myron Meinen witnessed their exchange of vows.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown that featured a lace bodice with a Sabina neckline studded with seed pearls and sequins and long lace sleeves.  The skirt was lace to the hipline in front and lengthened toward the back.  Tulle attached with scalloped lace and having lace appliques studded with pearls and sequins ended in a chapel train.

A headpiece designed like a crown with graduated pearls held her fingertip veil of silk illusion.  She carried a floral arrangement of two lavender orchids surrounded by white feathered carnations interspersed with lily of the valley.

Her attendants wore rainbow colored dresses designed with scoop necklines, (some unreadable lines on my copy)..dresses attached to the center bell.  White carnations surrounded tinted extended tinted matching carnations in the colonial bouquets carried by the attendants, with one in reverse arrangement, carried by the maid of honor.

Nile green was chosen for the maid of honor, who was Miss Marlene Wojciechowzki, Athens.  Orchid maize and blue were the colors for the bridesmaids, who were Mrs. Franklin Mootz, Merrill; Miss Roseann Blume, Marathon; and Miss Sandra Schade, Fond du Lac.

Attending as best man was Delmer Vesely, Milan. , Frank Mootz, Merrill; Harley Schraufnagel of Abbotsford and Vernon Utecht of Merrill were groomsmen and Joseph Bauer of Abbotsford was the ring bearer.

Festivities of the wedding day included (the rest of my copy was cut off)
