Stasek, Paul D. (3 NOV 1932 - 20 FEB 2011)

 

OWEN -- Paul D. Stasek, 78, of Owen died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Saint Katherine's Episcopal Church in Owen. Visitation will be at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with Masonic Rites to be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Withee, with full military rites conducted by the Owen and Lublin American Legion.

 

Paul was born Nov. 3, 1932, to Paul E. and Dorothy E. (Roohr) Stasek in Colby. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1950, serving during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. Paul was a heavy equipment operator for Hoffman Construction in Black River Falls most of his life.

 

He is survived by his brother, Ronnie (Lois) Stasek of Bismark, Ark.; and a sister, Gaymond Laabs of Shawano.
